History

EUROGINE was founded more than 25 years ago with the aim of developing and manufacturing for the medical market products for contraception and family planning, as well as for gynecological examination, diagnosis and gynecological surgery, specialized since then in the development and manufacture of Copper Intrauterine Devices and thus becoming the only domestic manufacturer of IUDs. Since the beginning being pioneered in design and manufacture of IUD’s and, in 1998, EUROGINE developed the GOLD T® IUD in the collaboration with the CDTI (Center for Technological and Industrial Development) and the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), the only IUD in the world with copper spiral and gold core.
